Agency Recruiting Pack: 6 free Claude skills for staffing agency desks
The six jobs an agency recruiter does every day, written as installable skills: win the job order, take the intake, write the strings, reach out, submit and write the post. Each one reads your agency profile, so fees, markets and house rules come out right.

FreeMIT license, no signup
Any AI appupload, or copy and paste
Free, no signup
6 skills, one download
Unzip it once and you get one file per skill to upload to Claude, ChatGPT Business or Gemini Enterprise. On ChatGPT Plus, the free Gemini app or Grok, copy and paste instead.
Claude, ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise. The skill switches on by itself when you need it.
2 Copy and paste
Works in any AI app, including ChatGPT Plus or Free, the free Gemini app and Grok. Paste it into a Project, GPT, Gem or Bot.
The rule: The AI drafts the job order, the strings, the messages and the submittal. You choose who to contact, check every fact and press send. Nothing is scraped, nothing is sent for you, and no skill ranks or scores a candidate.
Add your details (optional, about 2 minutes). Every copy and download on this page will include them, so the AI uses your real fees, markets and sign-off.
Pick a skill and read the whole instruction file (SKILL.md).
Copy it formatted for your app, or download it as a file to upload.
The desk workflow, in order
Add your agency profileOptional. Fill it in once and every copy and download below includes it.
Every line is optional. The most useful are your name, agency name, specialties, markets and fees. Saved in this browser only, never sent to Work Insiders. Leave a line blank rather than guess, so the AI never invents fees or proof points.
Paste it into a Claude Project's instructions or a chat. To install it as a skill, download the file.

# Client BD outreach
You write outreach that wins job orders. Hiring managers delete agency spam on sight, so every message must show you know their hiring problem and can help with it specifically.
If `references/agency-profile.md` exists, read it first: specialties, markets, proof points (placements, time to fill, years in business), fee basics and words the agency never uses. Never invent proof points. If none are in the profile or the request, write without them and tell the recruiter what would make it stronger.
## Pick the angle
Ask which signal the recruiter has, or find it in what they pasted:
1. **Open job signal.** The company has a live posting, especially one up 30+ days or reposted. Angle: "you've been looking a while; here's how we'd fill it."
2. **Most placeable candidate (MPC).** The agency has a strong, available candidate. Angle: a short blind summary of the person and one question: "worth a conversation?" Never name the candidate.
3. **Growth signal.** Funding, new site, expansion, contract win, leadership change. Angle: the hiring that usually follows.
4. **Peer signal.** The agency placed similar roles at similar companies. Angle: specific proof, no client names unless the profile says they are shareable.
If there is no signal, say so and write a short, honest introduction instead of faking one.
## Message shape
- **Subject:** under 6 words, specific. "Your controls engineer search" beats "Partnership opportunity".
- **Line 1:** the signal, in their terms.
- **Line 2 to 3:** what you can do about it, with one proof point.
- **Ask:** one low-effort question. "Worth a 10-minute call this week?" or "Want the blind profile?"
- **Sign off:** name, agency, phone.
- **Length:** under 100 words.
## Sequence
When asked for a sequence, write four touches over about three weeks:
1. Day 1: the main email.
2. Day 4: a short follow-up with one new piece of value (a market pay note the recruiter supplied, an MPC, a time-to-fill fact).
3. Day 10: a different channel suggestion (call script of 4 lines or a LinkedIn note under 300 characters).
4. Day 21: a polite close with an easy door left open.
## Rules
- No fake familiarity ("Hope you had a great weekend!"), no "just checking in", no "partnership opportunity".
- Never disparage the company's current agencies or internal team.
- Never share a candidate's identity, current employer or contact details in BD outreach.
- Never quote fees in a first message unless the recruiter asks; offer to share terms on a call.
- Use real numbers only from the recruiter or the agency profile. If you would need a number you do not have, write `[add: your time to fill for this role]` so the recruiter fills it in.
- Respect opt outs: every email sequence ends with a plain line letting them say "not interested", and US commercial email must carry the sender's real business address (CAN-SPAM). Add `[agency mailing address]` if the profile has none.
Free under the MIT license. Your agency profile stays in this browser and is never sent to Work Insiders.
How to install the Agency Recruiting Pack
Uploading? Download agency-recruiting-pack.zip and unzip it once. Inside is one file per skill (each one is a .zip too): upload those one at a time, as they are. Add your details above first if you want them in every file. Pasting? Use the Copy button above, then follow your app's steps below.
Claude upload
In Claude, open Settings (or Customize), then Skills, then Upload.
Upload each skill file from the unzipped pack, one at a time, as it is. Don't unzip it.
Check it is switched on.
Test it: start a new chat and type Use the skill name, then paste what you have.
Team and Enterprise owners may need to allow skills first.
ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu upload
In the sidebar, click Plugins, then the Skills tab.
Click Create, then Upload from your computer, and pick each skill file from the unzipped pack, one at a time,.
ChatGPT scans it, then uses it on its own or when you @ mention it.
An admin has to switch skills on for the workspace first.
ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Free paste
In the copy tool above, pick the skill and ChatGPT, then click Copy. It adds your agency profile if you filled it in.
In ChatGPT, click Projects, then New project, and name it after the skill.
Open the project's Instructions and paste.
Start a chat inside that project and paste your job order, notes or resume.
These plans have no skill upload. A project keeps the instructions for every chat inside it.
Gemini Enterprise upload
In the Gemini Enterprise web app, click Skills in the menu.
Click +, then Upload skill, pick each skill file from the unzipped pack, one at a time, and click Import.
Call it with / in a chat, or let Gemini pick it up on its own.
Standard, Plus and Pay-as-you-go editions can upload. An admin has to switch skills on first.
Gemini app paste
In the copy tool above, pick the skill and Gemini Gem, then click Copy. It adds your agency profile if you filled it in.
In the Gemini app, make a new Gem (a custom assistant) and paste it into the Gem's instructions.
Chat with that Gem whenever you need the skill.
Grok paste
In the copy tool above, pick the skill and Grok, then click Copy. It adds your agency profile if you filled it in.
Paste it into a chat with your Grok Bot. The first line asks it to save the skill with Skill Creator.
Review the draft and save it, then switch it on under Settings, Plugins, Yours. Call it with / in a chat.
Gemini CLI or Antigravity: unzip each skill into .gemini/skills/ in your project, or ~/.gemini/skills/ for every project. Grok Build: .grok/skills/. Claude Code without the plugin: ~/.claude/skills/.
Once a skill is installed or pasted in, ask for it by name and paste what you have. Remove names and personal details you do not need first.

Questions
What is in the Agency Recruiting Pack?
Six skills for the daily agency desk: Client BD Outreach, Job Order Intake, Job Description Cleanup, Boolean and X-ray Sourcing, Candidate Outreach and Candidate Submittal. Each one is a single SKILL.md file with a fill-in agency profile.
Is it free?
Yes. It is MIT licensed, so you can use it with clients, edit it and share it. There is no signup.
Does it work outside Claude?
Yes. Upload the ZIP in Claude, ChatGPT Business or Gemini Enterprise, drop it into Gemini CLI, save it in Grok with Skill Creator, or paste it into a Gem or GPT.
Will the AI send messages for me?
No. The skills write drafts. You decide who to contact, check the facts and send everything yourself.
How is it different from the Agency Desk Pack?
This pack covers the daily work. The Agency Desk Pack covers the moments that make or lose a fee: replies, screens, calibration, market maps, counter-offers, offer pre-close and post-mortems. Most desks use both.
For corporate TA teams: scorecard, pay range, process plan, candidate updates, structured interviews, debrief, references, rejections, offer acceptance and an AI hiring policy.
One outreach run done right, for client BD or candidates: who to target, a real hiring signal, sourced facts, warm paths, a reason to write, checks before sending, follow-ups and what worked.
