The short answer

Most recruiting software companies run an official training academy, and for customers it is usually free. Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, JobAdder, LinkedIn Recruiter, hireEZ and many more have one, and several give a certificate you can add to your LinkedIn profile.

An hour in your own tool’s academy is the cheapest AI training you will find, because it shows you features you are already paying for.

We opened every academy below in October 2026 and confirmed it is the vendor’s own structured training, not just a help center. “Customers” means you sign in with your account for that tool. Each tool name links to its Work Insiders listing, where you will also find the academy under At a glance.

Which popular tools do not have one?

As of October 2026 we found no structured academy, only help centers, webinars or video libraries, for Loxo, Recruit CRM, Teamtailor, SeekOut, HireVue, Metaview, Paradox, Indeed (for employers), Dice and Calendly. iCIMS appears to run one inside its customer community, but we could not open it to confirm. If you use one of these tools, ask your account manager for onboarding sessions, which are often included.

How do you get the most from a tool academy?

  1. Start with the AI features. Many academies now include training on the tool’s AI, which is where you learn which settings are on, which are off and who controls them.
  2. Ask your admin for access. Many customer academies sign you in through the tool itself, often from a Help or Training menu.
  3. Take the course with a live req open. Try each feature on real work as you go. That is when it sticks.
  4. Check the settings against your rules. Before you switch on any feature that ranks, rejects or messages candidates, read Module 5, Lesson 2 and agree it with your team.
