How we check each server

What we send

Once a day each server with a public URL gets the same first message an AI app sends when you connect it: an MCP "initialize" request. We do not sign in, and we never call a tool or read any data.

What counts as up

A server is Live when it completes the handshake or answers with a proper sign-in challenge, because that is exactly what Claude or ChatGPT would see before asking you to log in.

When we say down

Down means no answer at all, a broken certificate or a server error. One failed check can be a blip, so a server only shows Down after two in a row. Each server page shows its last 30 checks.

What is an MCP server?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. An MCP server is a doorway a software vendor opens so an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read data and take actions inside that tool, using your own login and permissions. You paste the server URL into your AI app once and it can then search your ATS, find an email or draft a sequence on request.

Are these official servers?

Yes. Every server here is run by the vendor itself. Community servers built by third parties on top of a public API are not listed, because they can break when the API changes and nobody at the vendor reviews how they handle your data.

What does Live, Responding and Down mean?

Live means the server completed our MCP check or answered with a proper sign-in challenge. Responding means something answers at the address but did not return a standard MCP reply, often because the vendor blocks automated checks. Down means two daily checks in a row got no answer or a server error. Every server with a public URL is checked once a day.

Why do some tools show no public URL?

Some vendors run a server inside each customer account, for example a Workday tenant, or share the address only during setup. Those tools still have an official server, so they are listed with a link to the vendor setup guide where one exists.

Is it safe to connect my recruiting tools to AI?

A well built vendor server only lets the assistant see what your own account can see. Start read only, keep sends, writes and credit spend on approval, and check whether your company needs an admin to approve the connection first.

How do I get my MCP server listed?

Submit your product on our submit a tool page and include the server URL. We list it once the server is documented on your own site.
