Recruiting tech stack recommender: your 5-lane stack in 5 questions

Five questions. A five-lane stack.

Say where you recruit, how many people will use the tools, what you can spend per seat, whether an AI agent needs to drive them, and whether you already have an ATS. The recommender then picks one listing per lane from the directory: ATS, sourcing, contact data, outreach, and scheduling.

This is a starting stack, not a quote. Starting prices are what the directory has on file. Confirm current terms on the vendor site before you buy. You can swap any lane for a free-tier option, or refine the monthly total in the cost estimator.

How we pick

Picks come from the Work Insiders directory — category, starting price, MCP and API flags — plus editorial fit marks where we have them. Listings without marks still appear; they score on price and flags only. We recheck this data on a quarterly cycle. Sponsored listings are not ranked higher.

Frequently asked questions

How does this pick tools?

The score is deterministic JavaScript. A listing gets points when its editorial fit marks match your segment, team size, and budget, and when its MCP or API flags match how you want an AI agent to drive the stack. If a listing has no fit marks yet, the score uses the directory pricing term and starting price only. Ties go to the lower editorial order, then A-Z. Nothing is ranked by sponsorship.

Is this ranked or sponsored?

It is a score, not a paid ranking. Sponsored listings are not boosted. The same scoring runs in your browser for everyone who answers the same way.

What if I already own some of these?

If you already have an ATS, say so and that lane is skipped. Its cost is left out of the total. For any other lane, treat the primary as a suggestion: the two alternates and the free swap are there so you can keep what you own and fill the gaps. Copy the summary and edit it.

Are the prices current?

They are the starting prices recorded on each Work Insiders listing from public pricing pages, rechecked on a quarterly cycle. They are not live quotes. Seat counts, credits, and annual discounts will change what you pay. Use the stack cost estimator to refine the total, and confirm current terms on the vendor site.
