How the estimate is built
- Starting price per listing, taken from the directory’s verified starting price when we have one.
- Per-seat tools are multiplied by the number of seats you enter. A team-seats control fills those rows; any row can be overridden.
- Quote-based tools stay in the stack so you can count them, but they are not added to the USD total.
What it does not include
Setup fees, onboarding, and implementation. Usage overages, credit packs, and add-on modules. Annual-billing discounts — the annual figure is the monthly starting price × 12.
Frequently asked questions
Are these real prices?
They are the starting prices recorded on each Work Insiders listing from public pricing pages. They are not live vendor quotes, and they are not always the amount you will pay after seats, credits, or a sales conversation.
Why is a tool missing or marked quote-based?
A tool is missing if it is unpublished, is an AI-agent listing, or has no pricing term and no starting price in the directory. Quote-based means the vendor does not publish a list price, or the listing is tagged quote. Those rows stay in your stack so you can count them, but they are not added to the total.
How do I share my stack?
Use Copy summary for a plain-text list of tools and the total, or Copy link to put the stack in the page URL as #stack=slug:seats. Anyone with the link sees the same tools and seat counts. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Does the estimate include per-user pricing?
Yes. Tools billed per user, seat, employee, agent, or rep show a seats field. The team-seats control at the top fills those rows; you can override any row. Flat monthly prices ignore the seat count.
