What can an AI assistant do with SourceWhale?

SourceWhale shares its tool list only after you sign in, so these capabilities come from the listing and SourceWhale's own documentation. Your AI app shows the exact tools once it is connected.

Things recruiters ask tools like this

  • “Write a three-step sequence for these candidates and set it up as a draft campaign.”
  • “Which of last week's messages got replies, and who still needs a follow-up?”

What the SourceWhale MCP server does

SourceWhale runs a first-party hosted MCP server at mcp.sourcewhale.app/mcp. Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients connect with OAuth, and each recruiter signs in with their own SourceWhale account, so existing permissions still apply. The assistant can search people, companies, projects, notes, campaign tasks and CVs, and read full call and meeting transcripts. It can also make four kinds of update, each confirmed before it runs: add a note, edit a person's details, edit custom fields, and move someone through a project pipeline. Read and write tools can be allowed or blocked one by one.
