Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Codex connect with an OAuth sign-in and no API key to copy; a local npx version uses an API key and can read resume files from disk. Tools are parse_resume, extract_job_criteria, match_candidate, rank_candidates and resolve_skills, all read-only, plus ready-made screening and summary prompts. It works on every plan, including Free, and each successful tool call uses one credit.

Yes. HireLayer runs its own official MCP server, so an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can work inside HireLayer with your own account and permissions.

Why is there no HireLayer MCP server URL here?

HireLayer has not published one public address. Vendors often run the server inside each customer account or share the address during setup.

Is it safe to connect HireLayer to AI?

An official server only lets the assistant see and do what your own HireLayer account allows. Start read only, keep anything that sends, writes or spends credits on approval, and check whether your admin needs to approve the connection.
