Bottom line

Sumble shows the teams, tech, reporting lines and hiring activity inside a target account and alerts you when they change. It suits agency recruiters and business development reps who sell into specific teams, such as data or platform engineering, rather than whole companies. There is a free plan with 500 credits a month, Pro is $99 a month, and a work email unlocks 30 days of Pro free.

Stands out for: Most signal tools tell you a company uses a technology, while Sumble breaks that down by team and attaches the people and reporting line behind it. That makes it sharper than a company-level lookup in BuiltWith when you need to know which hiring manager to call about a new data team.

Watch out for: The free plan only shows the first page of results and 8 signals a week, so real prospecting needs Pro. CRM and warehouse sync to Salesforce, Snowflake and Databricks sits on the quote-based Enterprise plan.

Overview

Sumble is an account intelligence platform built for go-to-market teams. Its pitch is that you should know your accounts like you work there, which in practice means a structured view of each target company: its teams, the technologies each team uses, its active initiatives, its org chart and its hiring activity.

Searches run on tech, job function, firmographic and project filters, and Pro adds full-text search and people search inside an organization, including reporting hierarchy. Signals are configurable, so you pick which organizations send alerts and Sumble flags changes such as new projects or hiring pushes.

For recruiters doing business development, the useful angle is timing and targeting. Seeing that a client is staffing up a specific team, and who runs it, gives a reason to call and a named person to call, which is stronger than a generic company alert.

Sumble documents an API for organizations, people and signals, plus an MCP server that connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI to its data. Webhooks are in beta on Enterprise, and Enterprise also adds Salesforce, Snowflake and Databricks integrations.

Who it's for

Best for

  • Agency recruiters selling into specific engineering or data teams
  • Business development reps who want hiring and project signals on named accounts
  • Teams building a target account list from lookalike companies
  • Users who want account data inside Claude or ChatGPT through MCP

Not ideal for

  • Bulk email list building at high volume
  • Teams needing native CRM sync without an Enterprise contract
  • Recruiters who only need a contact email and phone number

Key features

Team and technology map. See which teams inside an account use which tools, rather than one tech stack for the whole company.

Org charts and decision makers. View reporting structure and find the people who control budget, including ones a plain title search would miss.

Signals. Choose the organizations you care about and get alerts on hiring, projects and other changes, with up to 20 signals a day on Pro.

Lookalike and TAM discovery. Find companies similar to your best customers and map a whole territory for account scoring and planning.

Outreach email drafts. Pro writes personalized outreach drafts from the account data it holds.

API and MCP server. Pull organizations, people and signals over a documented API, or query Sumble from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI through its MCP server.
