Bottom line
Continuous performance, goals, and calibration. Performance starts at $8/user/mo; Performance + Talent Intelligence is $9/user/mo.
Stands out for: Public list pricing on a product that used to be quote-only: goals, feedback, conversations, 1:1s, and AI assistance sit on the $8 Performance seat, with calibration and succession on the $9 Talent Intelligence bundle.
Watch out for: The $8 seat is performance, not the full talent suite. Calibration, succession, and skills intelligence are on Performance + Talent Intelligence at $9. Engage, in-app guides, and change-management sit on Enterprise. Implementation is a separate conversation, and the vendor positions the product for larger organizations.
Overview
Betterworks is a performance and talent-intelligence platform. The Performance package is $8 per user per month and includes goals and OKRs, feedback, conversations/review cycles, 1:1s with AI summaries, AI assistance, and SSO. Performance + Talent Intelligence is $9 per user per month and adds anytime calibration, succession and talent mobility, skills intelligence, unified talent profiles, and individual development plans. Enterprise is custom and adds Engage, in-app guides, and change-management services.
AI is included in the solution (and can be turned off for policy). An MCP server is in beta so ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and Gemini can read goals and recognition. Named connectors on the integrations page include Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, UKG, ADP, BambooHR, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Zoom, Jira, and Asana. No free plan. No free trial is advertised; CTAs are Take a tour and Talk to an expert.
