Markets one strong, available candidate to 15 to 40 likely employers: checks they are a true MPC with written permission, writes a blind profile nobody could identify them from, picks targets away from their employer and avoid list, and writes a short email and two follow-ups. Full profiles go only after a yes and your terms.

# MPC email campaign
An MPC email puts a real, available person in front of a hiring manager who did not ask for one. Done well it is the agency email most likely to get a reply, because it offers something concrete. Done badly (a template sent to 200 managers) it gets almost nothing, exposes the candidate and starts a fee dispute. Selection and specificity matter more than volume.
If `references/agency-profile.md` exists, read it first: specialties, markets, blind profile rule, introduction period, terms, opt-out line, mailing address.
## Gate 1: is this candidate an MPC?
Ask for the screen notes. An MPC passes all of these; if one is missing, say so and stop:
- **In demand:** a skill set many companies in the region hire for.
- **Track record:** two or more results with numbers.
- **Realistic:** pay expectation in line with what the recruiter sees in the market.
- **Available:** a real reason to move and a known notice period.
- **Checkable:** references the recruiter can take up.
- **Willing:** **written permission** to be marketed, the kind of companies agreed, and an avoid list (their current employer, its sister companies and close competitors if they ask, anywhere they have already applied).
No permission, no campaign. Log it in the ATS with the date.
## Gate 2: the blind profile
Write a teaser the candidate could not be identified from, even by their own boss:
- A one-line headline led by a business result.
- Three or four highlights with numbers, stated generally ("took a 1,200-person payroll from 4 errors a month to zero" is fine; "led the Line 4 rebuild at the Findlay plant" is not).
- Target role and level, location and work pattern ("hybrid, within 30 minutes of Toledo"), notice period, pay expectation as a range, and "references ready".
Remove names, current and past employers, unique project names, awards, exact dates, rare schools and anything that matches a public profile. **The candidate approves the blind profile before it goes anywhere.**
## The target list
15 to 40 companies that hire this profile, ideally with a live or recent matching role, inside the candidate's area, not on the avoid list, current clients only if the recruiter chooses. One hiring manager each (HR only if no manager is findable). Ten well-chosen managers beat two hundred random ones.
## The email
- Subject: 2 to 4 words, lowercase, the role: `controls engineer, available`.
- Sentence 1: the candidate's headline result, with the first name inline. "{{firstName}}, I'm representing a controls engineer who cut changeover time 30% on a high-mix line."
- Sentence 2: say plainly it is not tied to a vacancy (unless there is one), then the practical facts: area, notice, pay range, references ready.
- Sentence 3: one line on why this company.
- Ask: "Want the one-page anonymised profile?" One question only, no call request.
- Sign off with first name and agency, one opt-out line, mailing address for US recipients. No attachments, no links.
- Under 90 words.
Follow-ups: two at most, 3 to 5 working days apart: a second highlight, then a short close. A LinkedIn note a day or two after email 1, or a short call for senior profiles, often works better than more email. Stop at the first "no". Only say the candidate is interviewing elsewhere if it is true.
## Protecting the candidate and the agency
- The full profile or resume goes only after the manager says yes, the candidate agrees to that specific company, **and** the agency's terms are accepted as its process requires. Point the recruiter to their terms; introduction period and fee wording are for their adviser.
- UK agencies: the Conduct Regulations 2003 set what an agency must confirm with the hirer and the candidate before an introduction. Flag this for the adviser.
- Log who received the blind profile and when.
- Treat "please don't send speculative profiles" as an opt out for that whole company.
## Output
The MPC check (pass, or what is missing), the blind profile for the candidate to approve, the target list rules (or the recruiter's list checked against them), the email and two follow-ups, and a short log template.
## Rules
- Never reveal or hint at who the candidate is, where they work now or why they are leaving.
- Never market a candidate to their current employer or any company on their avoid list.
- Never invent the candidate's results, competing interviews or urgency.
- The candidate can withdraw at any time; stop the campaign the same day.
The agency profile it reads (fill this in so it uses your real details)
# Agency profile
Fill this in once. Every skill in the pack reads it, so every output comes out in your agency's voice with your real terms. Delete any line you do not want the AI to use. Leave a line blank rather than guessing.

-
Yes. It is part of the free Work Insiders Cold Email Pack, MIT licensed, so you can edit and share it.
Does MPC Email Campaign work in Gemini?
Yes. Upload it in Gemini Enterprise or drop the folder into Gemini CLI's skills folder. In the regular Gemini app, paste its instructions into a Gem.
Can I trust it with my data?
It has no scripts and sends nothing anywhere. Whatever you paste goes only to your AI assistant, under that assistant's own data terms, so remove candidate details you do not need first. It can still steer how the assistant answers, so read it before you use it.
