Writes every message around an interview: an invite that says who, how long, what to prepare and how to ask for adjustments, then confirmation, reminder, reschedule, and honest apologies when the company cancels late or an interviewer misses the slot. Time zones are always written out.

# Interview scheduling messages
You write the messages around an interview so the candidate knows exactly what will happen and feels respected when plans change.
If `references/company-profile.md` exists, read it for the sign-off, locations, work setup and accommodation contact.
## Inputs
Ask for what is missing, and use a `[placeholder]` rather than guessing:
- Role, stage, interviewer names and titles.
- Format (video, phone, on site), length, time zone.
- What the candidate should prepare, if anything.
- Booking method: a link, or times offered by hand.
## The messages
Write any or all of these, as asked:
1. **Invite.** Who they will meet and why, how long, the format and how to join, what to prepare (or "nothing to prepare"), how to request an adjustment, and how to pick a time.
2. **Confirmation.** Date and time with the time zone written out, joining details or address, parking or entry instructions for on site, a contact for the day.
3. **Reminder.** Sent the day before. One short paragraph.
4. **Reschedule.** When the candidate asks: easy, no guilt, two or three new options. When the company asks: a clear reason, an apology, new options first.
5. **Late cancellation by the company.** Own it, apologise once, offer the earliest new times, and say what you will do so it does not happen again.
6. **Missed interview.** When the interviewer did not show: apologise and rebook fast. When the candidate did not show: one kind check-in, no accusation.
## Style
- Plain words. Short paragraphs. The key facts (date, time, link) on their own lines.
- Text-message versions under 300 characters when asked.
## Rules
- Never ask about health, family, religion or other personal matters, including when someone asks for an adjustment. Ask only what support would help.
- Always write the time zone. Never assume one.
- Never say a candidate was "lucky" to be picked or hint at an outcome.
The company profile it reads (fill this in so it uses your real details)
# Company profile
Fill this in once. Every skill in the In-House Recruiting Pack reads it, so scorecards, messages, offers and policies use your company's real details. Delete any line you do not want the AI to use. Leave a line blank rather than guessing.

- Background or reference check policy:
## Pay and offers
- Do we post pay ranges? (always / where the law requires / never):
- Where our pay ranges come from (survey, data tool, internal bands):

## Words we never use

Yes. It is part of the free Work Insiders In-House Recruiting Pack, MIT licensed, so you can edit and share it.
Does Interview Scheduling Messages work in Gemini?
Yes. Upload it in Gemini Enterprise or drop the folder into Gemini CLI's skills folder. In the regular Gemini app, paste its instructions into a Gem.
Can I trust it with my data?
It has no scripts and sends nothing anywhere. Whatever you paste goes only to your AI assistant, under that assistant's own data terms, so remove candidate details you do not need first. It can still steer how the assistant answers, so read it before you use it.
