Bottom line

Scout is a hands-off business development service for recruiting firms. You send a resume, and it finds open roles that candidate fits, identifies the hiring manager, scores the match and sends personalised outreach, or just delivers the matches as a daily data feed. It is sold by quote on candidate volume, with a free data sample and demo call first.

Stands out for: It leads with a candidate, not a pitch. Each message offers a specific person for a role the company has just posted, which the vendor says gets about 10 times the response of generic outreach. There is nothing to operate: you share a resume, replies reach your inbox, and firms that prefer to send their own messages can take only the matched jobs and contacts.

Watch out for: There is no published price and no free trial, only a free data sample and a demo call. It is a service rather than a self-serve tool, so you cannot see the contact data or sending setup before talking to the team. Results and customer counts on the site are the vendor's own claims, there are no independent reviews yet, and there is no public API or MCP server.

Overview

Scout is built for recruiting firms that already know the fastest way to land a client is to lead with a strong candidate, and that cannot do it at scale by hand.

You share a candidate by dropping in a resume. Scout scans career pages and most major job boards for roles that candidate fits, usually starting within 24 hours, then identifies the decision maker for each role rather than a general HR contact.

Every job and contact is scored for fit, and only the highest-probability opportunities are targeted. Personalised outreach is written to the role and the contact and sent on your behalf, and replies land in your inbox for you to answer and close.

If you would rather send your own messages, Scout can deliver daily lists of matched jobs and decision-maker contacts, with emails and mobile numbers. It can also target by role type without a specific candidate, though the vendor says candidate-led outreach converts better.

Pricing is based on candidate volume and quoted on a call. The vendor offers a free data sample and a demo where it pulls real matches for one of your candidates live. Its security page describes a SOC 2-aligned program, data hosted on AWS in the United States, and encryption at rest and in transit.
