No prices are published, so every team has to ask for a quote, and the free trial caps at 5 people. It is a new product with no public reviews yet. Payroll itself is not run, only exported to Excel, there is no public API, and Slack and Teams connections are only on plans that include them. Location is recorded at clock events only, not as GPS tracking through the day.
What we noted
Not the right fit for
Worth keeping in mind: The payroll month is handled with unusual care for a small tool: overtime steps and night windows by your rules, forgotten timers that stop themselves, employees filling their own missing days, and a finalized report that cannot change without a recorded reason. It also tracks equipment and access per person with a leaver report, and runs fully in Hebrew and Ukrainian as well as English.

$29/mo Free tier 14 day free trial API
Why it comes up: Connecteam covers time clock, scheduling and HR for deskless teams with a free plan and paid plans from $29/mo, where IHR has no free plan and quotes every price.
Stands out: A true free plan for teams of 10 or fewer, then hub-priced paid plans so you can buy operations without paying for HR or comms you will not use.
Watch out: The $29 Operations hub covers the first 30 users; extra users are per head, and Communications and HR are separate hubs. 14-day trial, no card.
Best for
$4.99/user/mo 14 day free trial MCP API
Why it comes up: Buddy Punch publishes per-user pricing from $4.99/user/mo, adds optional payroll and runs its own MCP server, but has no equipment tracking or hiring pipeline.
Stands out: Published per-user prices plus a $19 base, with API on Pro and higher MCP limits on Advanced.
Watch out: Every plan adds a $19 monthly base on top of per-user fees. Monthly Starter is $5.99/user, not $4.99.
Best for
$4/employee/mo 30 day free trial
Why it comes up: WorkforceHub pairs time, scheduling and hiring for small businesses month to month from $4/employee/mo, with shift scheduling IHR does not offer.
Stands out: Plus puts hiring next to timekeeping: a branded job page, job posting, applicant tracking with candidate scoring and texting, onboarding and benefits enrollment, for $7.25 per employee. There is no annual contract, seasonal headcount is billed only while active, and Swipeclock connects to hundreds of payroll systems.
Watch out: Scheduling, geofencing and the fuller PTO rules are not in Essentials, and the 30 day trial only covers Essentials, so the plans most teams need are shown by demo. Physical time clocks cost extra. The applicant tracker is built for small business hiring, not agency or high volume recruiting.
