How recruiters use this list

Companies usually start hiring within one to three months of a round. Filter to your niche, check whether they already post roles, then reach out to the founder or head of talent while the headcount plan is still being written.

Where the rounds come from

Funding announcements in the news, read from publishers' own feeds, plus SEC Form D filings, the notice US companies file when they sell shares. Equity rounds only: debt facilities and running totals are left out. Every row links to its source.

Questions about recently funded startups

How soon do startups hire after a funding round?

Most start adding headcount within one to three months of closing a round, because the plan the investors backed usually includes new hires. Seed rounds tend to fund a handful of first engineers; Series A and later rounds fund whole teams. A round is a signal to start the conversation, not proof that roles are open, so check the Hiring column and the company's own careers page.

Where can I find recently funded startups for free?

This page lists rounds from the last 45 days, pulled every hour from public funding announcements and SEC Form D filings. Every row links to its source. Other free routes are company press releases, the SEC EDGAR search for Form D filings, and funding coverage in tech news.

What is an SEC Form D?

Form D is the short notice a US company files with the SEC when it sells shares in a private round. It shows the amount sold so far and the company's address, but it does not name the round or the investors. Form D often appears before, or instead of, a public announcement, which is why some rows here show "SEC filing, round not named".

How should a recruiter approach a company that just raised?

Reach the founder or the first person running hiring soon after the announcement, while the hiring plan is still being written. Lead with the roles the round is likely to fund, show you know their space, and keep it short. Companies that already post roles on public job boards are a warmer start.

Why is a round I know about missing?

Rounds appear when a news headline names the company and the amount, or when a US company files a Form D. Rounds announced without an amount, debt facilities, and rounds older than 45 days are left out.
