Bottom line

TalentNeuron is labor market intelligence and strategic workforce planning software for large employers, built on job postings, profiles and government data across 200+ markets. It is sold by quote through a platform, an API and data feeds, a Snowflake share and consulting. It fits HR, TA and workforce planning leaders deciding where to hire, which skills to build and what talent costs.

Stands out for: The dataset has a long history: it traces back to Wanted Analytics in 1999 and spent years inside Gartner as Gartner TalentNeuron. It processes about 3 million job postings a day in 33 languages and tracks 65,000+ skills. Data can be queried directly inside Snowflake with SQL and joined to your own HRIS and ATS data, with no pipeline to build.

Watch out for: This is an enterprise analytics product, not a sourcing tool, so recruiters will not find candidates to contact in it. There is no public pricing or trial, and buying runs through a demo. The Synapse AI assistant is described only at a high level on the vendor site.

Overview

TalentNeuron sells global labor market intelligence. Its data draws on job postings, candidate profiles, government reports and proprietary sources, and the company says it covers 200+ markets, 26 million+ companies and more than 65,000 skills.

The business started as Wanted Analytics in 1999, was combined with Talent Neuron under CEB, became Gartner TalentNeuron after Gartner bought CEB, and was sold to Leeds Equity Partners in 2023. In 2024 it bought HRForecast, a German workforce analytics company.

The online platform has modules for hiring, competitor, skills and location analysis, organizational design, work architecture, employee value proposition and strategic workforce planning with scenario modeling. Synapse is an AI assistant that answers workforce questions from the same data.

Data is also sold through an API and data feeds, as a read only share inside Snowflake that can be joined with internal HRIS, ATS and finance data, and through a strategic consulting team. Pricing is by quote.
