Moments AI vs Pin

Same facts, side by side: starting price, free tier, MCP, API and what each one is actually built for.

Starting price

Moments AI

€49/mo Free tier

AI hiring assistant for founders and small teams without a recruiter, and for boutique recruiters. You describe the role in chat, it searches databases and the public web until enough strong fits clear your bar, writes first messages from your own Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp once you approve them, and a scheduling agent books the intro call. One open role is free; paid plans are €49/mo for 3 roles, €99 for 10 and €249 for 30.

Where Moments AI fits

  • Founders making first hires without a recruiter
  • Solo and boutique recruiters running up to 30 searches
  • Engineering hires where GitHub and open source work matter
  • Teams on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable who want sourcing on top

Pin

$100/mo Free tier Free trial

Suits recruiter desks that want an agent to source and send first-touch on open reqs. Pin sits beside your ATS, not in it. Paid plans start at $100/mo for one Solo seat, billed annually.

Where Pin fits

  • In-house TA running several open reqs
  • Agencies that want agent loops per client
  • Desks that already have an ATS of record
  • Teams connecting Claude or ChatGPT via MCP

Where they pull apart

Moments AI

Stands out: Search runs in rounds, moving from its own archive to LinkedIn, GitHub and Stack Overflow and then wider, and stops once your target number of strong candidates is reached. Each candidate comes with the evidence behind the score, including what it could not find. Plans are priced per open position, not per seat or per hire.

Watch out: Prices are in euros only and the product is built in the Netherlands, so US teams are billed in EUR. Credits cap searches and contact details (25 a month free, 150 on Starter), it is not an ATS, so interviews and offers stay with you, and it is a new product with no outside reviews yet.

Not the right fit for

  • Enterprise talent teams that need seats, permissions and reporting
  • High volume hourly hiring

Pin

Stands out: Hosted MCP plus an agent that sources and sequences against the req.

Watch out: ATS export is an add-on, not part of the base seat.

Not the right fit for

  • Teams that need Pin to be the ATS
  • Buyers who only want a contact finder
