Where they pull apart

EvoHire

Stands out: Cheat detection on phone and video technical screens is the wedge, not a generic one-way video recorder.

Watch out: The free plan is a cap, not a 14-day Pro trial. Paid at $165/mo still needs a live check on monthly interview volume and languages.

Not the right fit for

  • Teams that only need a $59/role async Willo link
  • Enterprises standardized on HireVue with no appetite for a second AI interviewer

ReCo

Stands out: Live transcript with no bot in the meeting. Works in Chrome for Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, in any language, and does not store audio or video.

Watch out: Face-to-face and phone capture are paid add-ons on top of the license. Teams of 5+ licenses are a custom quote.

Not the right fit for

  • Teams that need a native ATS writeback
  • High-volume phone or on-site interviewing without paying the capture add-on

Pros and cons

EvoHire

  • Free plan with a published paid floor at $165/mo
  • Cheat detection on phone and video technical screens
  • Built for engineering screens, not generic HR video
  • Paid floor is above FetchTalent's $99/mo listing
  • Free plan caps will not cover a hiring sprint

ReCo

  • Published Individual license at $23.25/mo billed annually or $39 monthly, with a no-card trial
  • No meeting bot and no stored audio/video
  • AI chat that already knows the CV and JD
  • Teams of 5+ licenses need a custom quote
  • Phone and in-person capture cost extra
  • No published native ATS writeback. You still copy reports
