Compare/Head to head

Carv vs Honeit

Same facts, side by side: starting price, free tier, MCP, API and what each one is actually built for.

Starting price

Carv

Sales-quoted

AI interview notes, write-ups, and ATS fill for recruiting agencies. Pricing is sales-quoted; the vendor publishes no prices and its recruiter product is on a waitlist.

Where Carv fits

  • Recruiting agencies that live on intake calls
  • Desks on Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, or Workable
  • Recruiters drowning in notes and write-ups
  • Teams that will accept AI in the interview workflow

Honeit

$79/seat/mo

Honeit is interview collaboration for recruiters: live rooms, notes, scorecards, and shareable candidate presentations. Core starts at $79 per recruiter seat per month, billed quarterly, and Pro is $129. Enterprise and RPO are custom. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card.

Where Honeit fits

  • Agency recruiters who want clients to hear real answers without another debrief
  • Internal TA teams that need scorecards and presentations from every screen
  • Desks running interviews on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or Webex that want Notetaker in the call
  • Teams that can commit quarterly at $79 per recruiter seat

Where they pull apart

Carv

Stands out: Joins the interview, writes the note, and pushes a candidate presentation back to Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, or Workable.

Watch out: Packaging is demo-led and the product now leans toward agentic volume hiring. Carv for recruiters shows a join-the-waitlist sign-up, so confirm availability and price on a call before you budget.

Not the right fit for

  • Enterprises that need HireVue-style structured video
  • TA teams that will not record interviews
  • Buyers who need a published price grid

Honeit

Stands out: Howie is the conversation-intelligence agent. Honeit Notetaker joins Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Webex. Hiring managers get real answers and clips instead of a recap email. Capterra lists Honeit (Phone Interview Technology) at 4.8 from 35 reviews.

Watch out: The $79 and $129 figures are per recruiter seat; extra interviewer seats are $19 per month, and Phone and SMS cost $31 more on Core. Enterprise volume and RPO deals are quoted.

Not the right fit for

  • Hiring teams that only need a $60/user/mo AI notetaker without Honeit's room and presentation workflow
  • Buyers who want month-to-month billing

Pros and cons

Carv

  • Notes and write-ups that actually land in the ATS
  • Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, and Teams named
  • Built for agency intakes, not enterprise video exams
  • No published pricing grid
  • Product marketing has shifted toward agentic volume hiring
  • Recruiter product is on a waitlist

Honeit

  • Published Core at $79 and Pro at $129 per recruiter seat
  • Notetaker for Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Webex plus Howie AI
  • 14-day free trial with no credit card
  • Billed quarterly or annually, not monthly
  • Seat price is per recruiter, which adds up on a large TA team
  • Enterprise and RPO still require a custom quote
