Tickin
Attendance, breaks and leave tracked inside Slack and Microsoft Teams, free for up to 10 employees.
From $1.60/employee/mo Free tier
Bottom line
Attendance, breaks and leave tracked inside Slack or Microsoft Teams, with approvals in a tap and a daily who's-out report. Free for up to 10 employees, then from $1.60 per employee a month billed annually. Best for small remote and hybrid teams that want HR basics where they already chat.
Stands out for: Everything runs from one /tickin command in Slack or Teams, so staff clock in and request leave where they already chat, and it is free for teams of up to 10.
Watch out for: Microsoft Teams support is only on the $4.80 Scale plan, and paid prices are quoted billed annually. Payroll starts on Growth.
Overview
Tickin is attendance and leave tracking that runs inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. Employees clock in, take breaks and request leave from chat, the browser or a desktop app, and managers approve in one tap and see who is in, late or out.
It records hours and breaks automatically, sends late-arrival alerts after a grace period you set, handles attendance corrections with an audit trail, and posts a daily Leave and WFH report to a channel. Leave policies, half days and holiday calendars are on every plan.
Higher plans reuse the same hours: Growth adds payroll with itemised payslips, shift scheduling and overtime pay, and Scale adds projects and tasks with logged time, Microsoft Teams and weekly or hybrid pay cycles. Screenshot and activity monitoring is an optional add-on that stays off until an admin turns it on.
Free covers up to 10 employees. Starter is $1.60, Growth $2.40 and Scale $4.80 per employee a month, billed annually.

Key features
Clock-ins and breaks in Slack and Teams. Employees clock in, start breaks with /tickin break and clock out from Slack, the browser or a desktop app. Break time is subtracted from worked hours automatically.
Leave requests and balances. Custom leave types, half days, public holiday calendars and automatic balances. Admins approve on Free and Starter; Growth and Scale add a team lead step first.
Late alerts and daily who's-out report. Set office hours and a grace period, and managers get one late-arrival notice per person per day. A daily Leave and WFH report posts to your channel.
Payroll, shifts and projects on higher plans. Growth adds payroll with itemised payslips, shift scheduling and overtime pay. Scale adds projects and tasks with logged time, Microsoft Teams and weekly or hybrid pay cycles.
