Where they pull apart

Berke Assessment

Stands out: Job-fit assessments with a long ATS list on the HighMatch site (Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, JazzHR, Jobvite, Taleo, ADP, Paylocity).

Watch out: You are buying HighMatch. Budget a quote and an implementation into the ATS, not a $49/mo DISC login.

Not the right fit for

  • Teams that want Crystal-style browser personality lookups
  • Buyers who need a public per-assessment price
  • Engineering orgs that need coding tests

Crystal Knows

Stands out: A $0 living profile plus a $49 Premium, with an MCP and Personality API, which is unusual in assessments.

Watch out: This is not a pre-hire job-fit exam like Berke. Buyer Profiles for sales are custom-priced and the API is credit-based. Crystal has no timed trial.

Not the right fit for

  • HR teams that need validated pre-hire job-fit testing
  • High-volume hourly assessment programmes
  • Companies that refuse personality tools in hiring
