Overview
Sorinai is a desktop notepad for Mac and Windows that transcribes your computer's audio, so no notetaker bot appears on the call and nothing is emailed to the candidate. Because it listens on your side, it works on any call your computer carries: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, WhatsApp, FaceTime, a browser tab or a dialler.
Its main feature is template fill. You upload the screening sheet, client intake form or scorecard you already use as a Word, PDF or text file, and each field fills in as the conversation reaches it. A live checklist shows which questions are still unanswered while the candidate is on the line, and a few minutes after the call the original file comes back filled with its formatting intact, ready to send to a hiring manager or upload to an ATS.
Your own typed notes are kept and enhanced rather than rewritten, each AI answer keeps the quote it came from, and an in-call copilot answers questions or writes down a point on request. After calls you can chat across all your meetings, for example to compare candidates on notice period and salary expectations.
A read-only MCP server is listed in Claude's connector directory and also works in ChatGPT on paid business plans and in Cursor. The vendor offers twelve free templates, including candidate screening, tech and finance screening and role qualification, and states that content is never used to train AI models and that it is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
