Bottom line

LinkedIn Hiring Assistant is an AI agent inside LinkedIn Recruiter that turns a role brief into sourced candidates, ranked applicants and drafted InMails. It is a quote-based add-on to a Recruiter or RPS+ contract, with no published price or trial. It fits corporate and staffing teams already on LinkedIn Recruiter who handle 3 or more well-defined roles.

Stands out for: It sources only from LinkedIn's 1B+ member network and uses signals other tools cannot see, such as your team's past Recruiter activity and InMail history, excluding anyone messaged in the last 3 months. RSC+ lets it evaluate applicants from your ATS alongside LinkedIn applicants, and a Microsoft Teams integration brings hiring managers into feedback. It runs in 7 languages.

Watch out for: You cannot buy it on its own: it requires a LinkedIn Recruiter or RPS+ contract, and LinkedIn Recruiter is listed separately in this directory as the parent product. Admins must assign Hiring Assistant licenses per seat, and LinkedIn says access is rolling out gradually, so some accounts may not see it yet. Sourcing is limited to LinkedIn members, and outreach runs through InMail rather than email or phone.

Overview

Hiring Assistant is LinkedIn's AI agent for recruiting, built into LinkedIn Recruiter and sold as a paid add-on. It is available to LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Professional Services Plus (RPS+) customers who are assigned the Hiring Assistant permission, and it works in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

A project starts with intake. You describe the ideal candidate or attach a job description or live LinkedIn job post, and Hiring Assistant turns that into qualifications, drawing on your team's past Recruiter activity for similar roles. When a job is posted in Recruiter, the agent is added to the project by default and can be removed.

It then sources in the background, running many searches across LinkedIn's 1B+ members and posting a summary to the project's activity log, with first candidates usually within about 20 minutes. You give feedback on profiles and it adjusts. It also evaluates applicants from LinkedIn and, through Recruiter System Connect Plus, from your ATS, then drafts InMails for up to 25 candidates at a time with optional prescreening questions.

Pricing is not published. LinkedIn quotes Hiring Assistant as part of a Recruiter agreement priced on seats, hiring volume, company size, region and term length. Small businesses that hire occasionally are pointed to a separate product, LinkedIn Hiring Pro, instead.
