Pick Prosp if you want AI written messages and voice notes in your own voice on every account, with a residential proxy included on every plan. Pick HeyReach if you run many LinkedIn senders for clients and need white label dashboards, a long list of integrations and an MCP server. On price, HeyReach is cheaper at 1, 5 and 25 accounts on annual billing, and Prosp is cheaper at 10 and 50. Prosp bills every 4 weeks, so you pay 13 times a year, not 12.
Prices and features checked on each vendor’s own site on 19 October 2026. We use Prosp at Work Insiders for our own LinkedIn outreach. Neither vendor paid for or reviewed this article.
What is the difference between Prosp and HeyReach?
Both tools automate LinkedIn outreach from the cloud, so nothing runs in your browser and campaigns keep going when your laptop is closed. Both send connection requests and follow up messages, and both put replies from every account into one inbox.
The difference is what each one is built to do best. Prosp is built around the message. It reads each prospect’s profile and recent activity, writes the first message for you, and can send voice notes in a cloned copy of your voice as a step in the sequence.
HeyReach is built around volume. It connects many LinkedIn accounts for one fee and rotates sending across them, which is why agencies running outreach for several clients tend to choose it. The HeyReach homepage says more than 7,000 companies use it.

How much do Prosp and HeyReach cost in 2026?
Here are the published price ladders. Prosp charges per connected account, and every account moves to a lower rate once you cross into the next tier. HeyReach charges per seat on Growth and a flat monthly fee above that.
| Plan | Accounts | Standard price | Annual billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prosp Starter | 1 to 5 | $79.99 per account every 4 weeks | $61.99 per account every 4 weeks |
| Prosp Agency | 6 to 30 | $59.99 per account every 4 weeks | $45.99 per account every 4 weeks |
| Prosp Scale | 31 and up | $39.99 per account every 4 weeks | $30.99 per account every 4 weeks |
| HeyReach Growth | Pay per sender | $79 per seat a month | $63 per seat a month ($756 a year) |
| HeyReach Agency | Page lists 25 and 50 sender options | $999 a month | $799 a month ($9,590 a year) |
| HeyReach Unlimited | Up to 300 senders (fair use) | $2,999 a month | $2,399 a month ($28,790 a year) |
Check both pages before you buy: the Prosp pricing page and the HeyReach pricing page. Prosp also offers quarterly billing at 12.5% off. HeyReach takes 10% off quarterly and 20% off yearly.
Why does billing every 4 weeks matter?
A year has 13 four week periods. So Prosp’s $79.99 entry price comes to $1,039.87 a year for one account, against $948 for one HeyReach Growth seat on monthly billing. The sticker prices look the same. The yearly bill is not.
What does each one cost per year by team size?
This is a Work Insiders calculation from the published rates above, on each vendor’s cheapest billing option. Prosp is the 4 week rate times 13. HeyReach uses whichever plan is cheapest for that number of senders.
| LinkedIn accounts | Prosp (annual billing) | HeyReach (yearly billing) | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $805.87 (Starter) | $756 (Growth) | HeyReach by $49.87 |
| 5 | $4,029.35 (Starter) | $3,780 (Growth) | HeyReach by $249.35 |
| 10 | $5,978.70 (Agency) | $7,560 (Growth) | Prosp by $1,581.30 |
| 25 | $14,946.75 (Agency) | $9,590 (Agency) | HeyReach by $5,356.75 |
| 50 | $20,143.50 (Scale) | $9,590 to $28,790 (Agency or Unlimited) | Depends on whether HeyReach Agency covers 50 senders |
The raw numbers favor HeyReach at most sizes. The catch is what the HeyReach price leaves out. Growth has no native AI message writer, so if you want each message written from the prospect’s profile, you add a tool like Clay. Prosp’s comparison page prices that add on at $149 a month. On Agency and Unlimited, you also bring and pay for your own proxies.
Can you trust Prosp’s own price comparison?
Read it as a sales page. The Prosp comparison page quotes a “Team” tier of $59 per account for 5 to 34 accounts and says 10 accounts cost $590 a month. Prosp’s own pricing page shows different tiers: $59.99 for 6 to 30 accounts, billed every 4 weeks, not monthly. Its claimed $349 monthly saving at 10 accounts also counts the Clay add on against HeyReach. Use the pricing page, not the comparison page, when you build a budget.
Which tool writes better LinkedIn messages?
Prosp, because it is the only one of the two that writes them. Its AI reads the prospect’s profile and recent posts before writing the first message, and this is included on every plan with no message cap.
HeyReach expects you to bring the copy. Its homepage shows an AI chat composer for drafting replies, and its MCP server lets an agent like Claude create campaigns with custom messages. For profile based first messages at scale, most HeyReach users connect Clay or Twain.
One caution before you hand everything to AI. In our LinkedIn prospecting benchmarks, Expandi found human written templates beat AI personalized campaigns on acceptance by about 12%, with reply rates flat. Use AI for the first draft, then edit with what you actually know about the prospect.
Do LinkedIn voice notes actually work?
Voice notes are Prosp’s main selling point. It sends them automatically as a sequence step, in a cloned copy of your voice, with one voice per account slot. HeyReach users can send voice notes too, but by hand from the desktop inbox, according to Prosp.
Prosp claims a 56% acceptance rate, 3 times the message reply rate and twice the booked calls. Those are its own figures, with no published method behind them. Reviewers on Prosp’s Capterra page also single out voice notes as what starts conversations, but there are only 4 reviews there, so treat the 5.0 score as a small sample.
Which is better for agencies with many LinkedIn accounts?
HeyReach, in most cases. It was built for sender rotation, and its Agency plan adds white label branding so clients see your brand, not HeyReach’s. It also lists done for you onboarding and a dedicated Slack channel.
Prosp’s Agency plan (6 to 30 accounts) has its own agency perks: white glove onboarding, handled migration, a dedicated Slack channel, a listing on its partners page and portfolio wide ban protection. It also includes rental LinkedIn profiles on every plan. What it does not document is a client facing white label dashboard. If your clients log in to see results, that gap decides it.
Which one connects to my other tools?
HeyReach, by a wide margin. It names Clay, HubSpot, RB2B, Trigify, Make, Zapier, n8n and Persana, plus native multichannel links with Instantly and Smartlead, an API, webhooks and an MCP server. If you already run email in Instantly or Smartlead, HeyReach fits into that stack.
Prosp mentions a lead finder, a Chrome extension and “your CRM and other integrations” without naming them. It is LinkedIn only for now, and one Capterra reviewer lists missing email as a con. Ask Prosp in the trial which CRM it syncs with before you commit.
Is Prosp or HeyReach safer for your LinkedIn account?
Neither can make automation risk free. LinkedIn’s prohibited software policy bans third party tools that automate activity on the site, and that applies to every tool in this category.
Both reduce the risk the same basic way: cloud sending, a dedicated IP per account and human paced limits. Prosp includes a residential proxy for every account on every plan. HeyReach includes one on Growth, and on Agency and Unlimited you can bring your own, which means more setup and more cost.
The one rule both sides agree on: never run two automation tools on the same LinkedIn account. Two tools sending at once create activity patterns that look nothing like a person. If you switch, pause the old tool first.
How do you switch from HeyReach to Prosp?
By hand. Prosp has no automatic importer for HeyReach sequences, and its comparison page says rebuilding takes under an hour. On its Agency plan, Prosp lists handled migration, so its team does the move for you.
Export your lead lists from HeyReach first, pause every HeyReach campaign on the accounts you are moving, then connect those accounts to Prosp. Going the other way, HeyReach lists done for you migration on its Unlimited plan.
Who should choose Prosp?
- Recruiters and small agencies running 6 to 30 accounts, where Prosp’s Agency rate undercuts HeyReach Growth.
- Teams that want AI written first messages without paying for Clay on top.
- Anyone who wants voice notes to stand out in a crowded LinkedIn inbox.
- Teams that do not want to manage proxies.
Who should choose HeyReach?
- Agencies whose clients need a white label dashboard.
- Teams already writing copy in Clay, or running email in Instantly or Smartlead.
- Shops that want AI agents to run campaigns through an MCP server.
- Single account users and teams of about 25 senders, where HeyReach’s published price is lower.
What are the best alternatives to Prosp and HeyReach?
If neither fits, these LinkedIn tools solve the same problem in different ways. Each listing has current pricing and its own alternatives.
| Tool | What it does differently | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud sequences with conditional steps and warm up touches | Single account power users | |
| Multi account campaigns and a shared inbox | Small teams that want one reply inbox | |
| Chrome based LinkedIn plus email | Solo recruiters starting out | |
| Email and LinkedIn in one sequence | Teams that want one multichannel tool |
See the full LinkedIn outreach category for every tool we list, or our page of HeyReach alternatives.
How should you trial both without risking your account?
Both offer 14 day trials, so you can run them side by side for two weeks. Use a different LinkedIn account in each tool, never the same one. Give each the same list type, the same daily limits and a three message sequence, which is the length that replied best in the Expandi data.
Score three things at the end: acceptance rate, replies per 100 requests and hours your team spent writing or fixing messages. If the reply numbers are close, the time saved writing messages is usually the tiebreaker.
Quick answers
Is Prosp cheaper than HeyReach?
At 10 accounts, yes: $5,978.70 a year on Prosp’s annual billing against $7,560 on HeyReach Growth. At 1, 5 and 25 accounts, HeyReach’s published price is lower, but it does not include AI message writing.
Does HeyReach have AI message writing?
Not natively for first messages. HeyReach shows an AI chat composer for replies and offers an MCP server for AI agents, but most users write personalized copy in Clay or Twain.
Can Prosp send emails?
No. Prosp is LinkedIn only for now. HeyReach also has no email sending of its own, but it connects to Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison for multichannel campaigns.
Does either tool have a free plan?
No. Both have 14 day free trials. HeyReach’s covers 3 LinkedIn accounts with no card, and its Agency and Unlimited plans offer a 30 day trial on request.
Can I use Prosp and HeyReach on the same LinkedIn account?
No. Running two automation tools on one account creates unpredictable activity and raises the risk of restrictions. Pause one before connecting the account to the other.
Which is better for recruiters?
For a recruiter or small agency writing to hiring managers, Prosp’s AI messages and voice notes do more of the work. For an agency running LinkedIn outreach as a service for many clients, HeyReach’s white label and integrations matter more.
