RefAssured is a reference checking and performance verification platform for staffing agencies. It is sold as five product lines that can run alone or together: Protect fraud detection, identity verification, automated reference checking, performance evaluations and Sales Signal lead generation.
A recruiter launches a request from the candidate record in the ATS. The candidate enters referees on a mobile page with no login, referees answer a structured questionnaire by text or email link, and smart reminders and bounce alerts chase the stragglers. The vendor reports about a 26 hour average turnaround and an 89 percent completion rate, and the finished report writes back to the ATS ready to attach to a submission.
Fraud controls run before submission. Identity verification, including ID.me, is built into the workflow, and Protect scores device IDs, IP addresses and process signals on both candidates and reference givers, ranking named signals for a recruiter to review.
After placement, client-reported performance evaluations build a record used for contract extensions and redeployment. Referees can also opt in as leads; the vendor cites 4 percent as sales leads and 19 percent as talent leads, routed to reps with AI-built ICP target lists.
Native integrations cover Bullhorn's suite, Salesforce (including Recruitment Cloud, Asymbl and Assist ATS), JobDiva and symplr, with a no-code Chrome extension for other systems and a documented REST API with webhooks.
