Entry Level Account Manager / Recruiter

Apollo Technical is seeking an Entry-Level Account Manager & Recruiter to present our staffing services to hiring managers at Fortune 1000 companies and small-to-midsize corporations.

This is a full-time, inside sales position focused on the Engineering and Information Technology fields, with a base salary plus uncapped commission.

• About the Role

As an Account Manager & Recruiter, you will build business partnerships between Apollo Technical and companies in your assigned territory. Success comes from high-quality phone work, proven recruiting methods, and consistent networking with hiring managers. You will expand the client base through outbound calls and relationship-building while sourcing and placing top technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Identify hiring managers and decision-makers through phone networking and research
• Understand client needs and the urgency to fill open positions
• Aggressively pursue new clients and business opportunities
• Negotiate effectively between technical candidates and hiring managers via phone and email
• Continuously grow and maintain the national candidate database
• Source top-performing Engineering & IT professionals using job boards, referrals, networking, the internal database, and other resources
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional phone work and recruiting best practices

Requirements

• Confident phone presence and professional etiquette (voice communication is prioritized over email and text so personalities shine through)
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Hard-working and able to follow direction
• Ideal for recent graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience
