It is built for job seekers first, and the vendor says so. There is no published employer product, job promotion, applicant tracking or candidate database, so you cannot buy reach or search resumes. Agency recruiters' own postings are filtered out of results by design.
What we noted
Not the right fit for
Worth keeping in mind: Jobs come from employers' own career pages, not paid ads, so the index is far larger than sponsored-only boards and agency reposts are removed. It grew to 2M+ monthly users through Reddit with no marketing spend, raised a $6.8M pre-seed led by Spark Capital in 2026, and launched an AI Talent Agent that matches seekers from a resume.

Why it comes up: Indeed sells sponsored job placement and applicant volume, the paid reach HiringCafe does not offer.
Stands out: The board candidates actually open, with MCP and an API on top.
Watch out: Pay-per-click spend can outrun a small budget quickly, and it is not your ATS.

Why it comes up: Himalayas also lets employers post for free, and adds a searchable talent directory and candidate messaging, but for remote roles only.
Stands out: Posting, company profiles and unlimited candidate messaging are all free, which is uncommon for a board of this size. Employers can search a directory of 200,000+ job seekers rather than waiting for applicants. An MCP server lets you post jobs and run candidate searches from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor.
Watch out: Every job is reviewed before it goes live, and listings expire after 30 days. It only covers remote roles, so it will not help with onsite or hybrid hiring. No ATS integrations are named in the employer docs, so applicants may need manual handling.

Why it comes up: TrueUp is a tech-only job marketplace that adds warm intros to hiring teams instead of a general career-page index.
Stands out: Warm intros only after both sides confirm interest, at 12% instead of a classic 20-35% fee.
Watch out: Only companies already on TrueUp can apply, and they need a Trajectory Score of 60-plus or venture backing.
