Head to head

FeedbackPulse vs Workleap

Same facts, side by side: starting price, free tier, MCP, API and what each one is actually built for.

FeedbackPulse

$4/employee/mo Free tier Free trial

A low cost pulse survey and review tool for teams of about 10 to 200: free for up to 10 people, then $4 per employee a month on annual Pro for anonymous surveys, eNPS benchmarks, 360 and performance reviews. It suits a founder or first HR hire who wants a monthly listening habit running this week, not a mid-market platform with compensation, HRIS and a procurement process.

Where FeedbackPulse fits

  • Founders and first HR hires at 10 to 200 person companies starting a monthly pulse or eNPS habit
  • Teams that bounced off Culture Amp or Lattice minimums and want a published per employee price
  • Small companies running their first structured review or 360 cycle
  • HR leads who want to query survey results from Claude or ChatGPT

Workleap

$4,999/yr Free tier

Engagement, performance, org chart, and a manager AI agent. Standard starts at $4,999 USD per year, billed annually, not $5/user/mo.

Where Workleap fits

  • Mid-market HR replacing Officevibe plus a separate review tool
  • Companies that want pulse surveys, recognition, and org charts together
  • Manager-effectiveness programs that will use the AI agent
  • Teams on Slack, Teams, or a major HRIS that want provisioning to just work

Where they pull apart

FeedbackPulse

Stands out: Prices are published and low: Pro at $4 per employee a month includes reviews, 360 feedback and AI summaries that bigger platforms sell as separate modules, and kudos come free on every plan. Survey answers stay hidden until three people respond, and a first-party MCP server lets an admin pull results or launch a survey from inside Claude or ChatGPT.

Watch out: Slack and Microsoft Teams, where many teams actually answer pulse surveys, sit on the Max plan at $8 per employee a month, double Pro. Goals are Max only too. There is no HRIS, payroll or compensation module, so employee data lives in its own directory. It is a small vendor (Hindcast LLC, registered in Wyoming in 2025) that relies on its hosting providers' certifications rather than its own SOC 2, and says itself that it does not chase 500 seat enterprise security reviews. Production data is hosted in the EU.

Not the right fit for

  • Enterprises that need a vendor security review, SOC 2 report or procurement track
  • Teams that want pulse surveys inside Slack or Teams on the cheapest paid plan
  • Companies after one platform for HRIS, compensation and learning as well as feedback

Workleap

Stands out: Officevibe pulses, Pingboard org charts, reviews, recognition, and an AI agent that drafts reviews and briefings now sell as one platform fee, which is simpler than stacking four SKUs at $5/user each.

Watch out: Pricing is a platform minimum, not a per-user $5 seat. Standard is $4,999/yr. MCP and API access start on Pro at $11,999/yr. Enterprise is custom above 250 employees. There is no free plan.

Not the right fit for

  • Buyers who need a per-seat price rather than a $4,999/yr platform fee
  • Organizations that need MCP/API on the cheapest tier
  • Very large enterprises that will be pushed to a custom +250 plan

  • Goals also locked to the Max plan

  • AI review drafts and briefings on Standard
  • Named HRIS connectors including Workday, BambooHR, HiBob, and UKG
