The API is publicly documented in OpenAPI 3.1 at absencesoft.stoplight.io, with Employee, Case, Employer and Communications APIs and webhooks.
Watch out: There is no public price, and custom outbound file feeds and API build work cost extra. Payroll Calculations produces estimates and export files, not payments, so payroll still runs in your own system.

FINEOS Absence for Employers
Stands out: Employers can buy absence only, or absence with disability, or absence with disability and accommodations. The March 2024 launch named a convenience chain of more than 30,000 employees and an insurer employer of more than 41,000 employees.
Watch out: FINEOS also sells claims software to insurers. This employer product is a separate offer, but buyers should confirm they are not being sold a carrier implementation. There is no public price.
