Bottom line
Three AI agents that sit beside the recruiter rather than replace them: one scores resumes with the evidence shown, one feeds live questions and follow-ups during recruiter-run interviews, and one flags mismatches between resume, LinkedIn and contact details. It works inside 30+ ATSs, from $99/mo billed annually after a 30-day trial.
Stands out for: The Interview Agent helps during the call, not after it: it rewrites the questions you have not asked yet as the candidate talks and suggests follow-ups only the interviewer sees, which lets a non-technical recruiter run a credible technical screen. Seats are unlimited on every plan, so cost is set by interview minutes.
Watch out for: Plans are annual contracts paid upfront after the trial, and the Candidate Trust Agent and custom resume scoring only arrive at $999/mo. The agent joins calls as a visible participant, so candidates may notice it. HireFoundry is a new brand, launched from Fusemachines' earlier Interview Agent, with no outside reviews yet.
Overview
HireFoundry is a platform of AI agents for recruiters, built by Fusemachines, an ISO 27001 certified enterprise AI company. It grew out of Fusemachines' Interview Agent and now has three agents, each meant for a specific hiring moment, with the recruiter making every decision. No agent rejects or advances a candidate on its own.
The Candidate Shortlisting Agent scores applicants against the job description and the context your team adds, surfaces relevant experience described with different titles or wording, applies your own criteria to a chosen group and shows the evidence behind each score. The Interview Agent joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet as a named participant, prepares questions tailored to each resume, shows in real time what an answer covered and what is missing, updates unasked questions and suggests follow-ups. Afterwards it organises competency findings, score explanations and a searchable transcript, without recording audio or video.
The Candidate Trust Agent compares phone, email and LinkedIn signals with what the candidate submitted, and checks companies, roles and dates across resume and LinkedIn, leaving the interpretation to the recruiter. HireFoundry connects to 30 ATSs including Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Loxo, PCRecruiter, Crelate and Workable, plus Google and Outlook calendars. Starter is $99/mo and Premium $999/mo, both billed annually, after a 30-day trial.

Key features
Candidate Shortlisting Agent. Scores each candidate against the job description and your team's added context, finds relevant experience described in different words, applies your own role criteria and shows the evidence behind every score. The recruiter builds the shortlist.
Interview Agent. Joins Zoom, Teams or Google Meet as a visible participant, prepares candidate-specific questions from a competency framework, shows what each answer demonstrated, suggests follow-ups live and organises findings with searchable transcript evidence. It does not record audio or video.
Candidate Trust Agent. Checks whether phone, email and LinkedIn signals look consistent with what the candidate submitted, and compares companies, roles and dates across resume and LinkedIn for the recruiter to review.
