Bottom line

Social media scheduler built to be driven by AI agents: Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can draft, schedule and check analytics across 30+ networks while you approve posts in one calendar. Cloud plans start at $29/mo with a 7-day trial, and the code is open source if you want to self-host.

Stands out for: Agent access is the product, not an add-on. Every plan includes a hosted MCP server with OAuth sign-in, a CLI skill and a public API, so a recruiter can ask Claude to turn one job post into LinkedIn, X and Facebook versions and schedule them for the week. The AGPL-3.0 code on GitHub has over 37,000 stars.

Watch out for: There is no permanent free plan on the cloud version, and the $29 Standard plan is solo only with no AI images. Self-hosting is free but means running Docker yourself and getting your own developer app approved by Meta, TikTok and YouTube, which can take weeks. It is a general social tool, so it has no job posting, ATS or candidate features.

Overview

Postiz is a social media scheduling platform that publishes to more than 30 networks from one visual calendar, including LinkedIn profiles and company pages, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Reddit, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord and Slack. You write a post once, pick the channels, adjust each version in its own preview, and schedule it.

What sets it apart is how much of it AI agents can run. A hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients sign in with OAuth and then list your channels, schedule or publish posts, upload media and read analytics from a plain-English request. Agents that run shell commands, such as OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, use the Postiz CLI skill instead, and n8n, Make and Zapier connect through the public API and webhooks. A built-in agent can also write posts, generate images and short videos, and clip long videos into shorts within monthly allowances.

Other features include repeating evergreen posts, RSS auto-posting, scheduled follow-up comments, auto-repost or auto-comment once a post reaches a set number of likes, customer groups for separate brands, and per-post analytics. Cloud plans run from $29/mo for 5 channels to $99/mo for 100, all with unlimited posts. The same code is published on GitHub under AGPL-3.0 for teams that want to host it themselves.

Who it's for

Best for

  • Recruiters who already use Claude or ChatGPT and want them to schedule social posts
  • Agencies posting jobs and employer brand content across several company pages
  • Teams that want an open-source scheduler they can self-host
  • Anyone posting to many networks beyond LinkedIn and X

Not ideal for

  • Recruiters who only need LinkedIn and want writing help (a LinkedIn-first tool fits better)
  • Buyers who want a permanent free plan
  • Teams that need job distribution to job boards or ATS integration

Key features

AI agent posting. A hosted MCP server with OAuth sign-in (no API key) lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients list channels, schedule posts and pull analytics. Agents that run shell commands, such as OpenClaw, use the Postiz CLI skill.

Cross-posting to 30+ networks. Write once and publish to LinkedIn profiles and pages, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Reddit, Bluesky and more, with a per-channel preview to adjust copy.

Automation. Repeating evergreen posts, RSS auto-posting, scheduled follow-up comments, and auto-repost or auto-comment once a post hits a like threshold.

MCP server

Postiz runs its own hosted MCP server at https://mcp.postiz.com/mcp-oauth-dynamic. Add it as a remote MCP server or custom connector and sign in to Postiz with OAuth; no API key is needed. Postiz is also in the Claude connector directory, but that version leaves out image and video generation.
