Where they pull apart

Recruit CRM

Stands out: A hosted MCP at agent.recruitcrm.io plus agency hotlists and GDPR controls.

Watch out: MCP access has to be switched on per role before an assistant can connect.

Not the right fit for

  • Corporate in-house talent teams
  • Desks that want structured hiring kits

SearchOS

Stands out: It aims to replace the whole desk stack (CRM, sourcing, outreach, contact data, call notes and e-signing) with one system, and it publishes every price, including contact credits (one credit per email or mobile found, pooled across the team) and fixed migration fees. A done-for-you move from Bullhorn, Loxo or spreadsheets is free on annual plans of 3+ seats.

Watch out: It is a young product with no outside reviews yet, and moving your whole database to a new vendor is a big step. Phone credits are thin on the entry plan (15 a month), and call recording and campaigns start on Principal at $199/seat/mo; the $99 Founding 100 price only applies to the first 100 desks.

Not the right fit for

  • Firms that want a vendor with a long track record and outside reviews before switching
  • Agencies that only need contact data or sequences, not a new CRM

Pros and cons

Recruit CRM

  • Hosted MCP on the vendor's own domain
  • Hotlists and GDPR tooling built for agencies
  • Free trial available
  • MCP needs enabling per role
  • Not a corporate structured-hiring ATS
  • Pricing scales per seat

SearchOS

  • Activity logs itself, so the database stays current without manual entry
  • Contact data, call recording, e-signatures and MCP included, with all prices published
  • 14-day free trial with no card and free CSV migration up to 2,500 records
  • Young product with no outside reviews yet
  • Only 15 phone credits a month on the entry plan
  • Call recording and campaigns need the $199 Principal plan
