Bottom line

Free split network and social feed for independent and agency recruiters: post jobs and candidate profiles, find a partner recruiter, agree a fee split and get paid directly. The Free plan covers all core features; Plus at 14.99 a month only adds unlimited private candidate profiles.

Stands out for: Splits are agreed and paid directly between the two recruiters, with no platform fee taken, and both sides carry a reputation score: candidate owners are rated on submission quality, while job owners and employers are rated on communication, speed and payment reliability.

Watch out for: It is a young network, and a split marketplace is only as useful as the number of active recruiters and open jobs on it, so check the job and talent marketplaces for your niche before relying on it. Job publishing tools are still being built out, there are no integrations with an ATS or CRM, and the Plus price is shown without a currency.

Overview

Talnet combines a split network with a social feed for recruiters. Members post jobs and candidate profiles, called MPCs, to shared marketplaces, browse them by tags, location and keyword, and either submit a candidate to another recruiter's job or ask for a referral to fill their own. The two recruiters agree the terms of the split themselves and are paid directly by the partnering recruiter or employer.

Every action earns credits and builds a reputation score. Job owners rate the candidates submitted to them, and employers and job owners are scored on communication, speed and payment reliability, so submitting to a well rated employer costs fewer credits. Submissions run on a shared timeline, job owners can cap the number of submissions, and the community moderates low quality or spam posts itself.

Talnet Social is the public feed, where recruiters post as themselves, as a company or anonymously, follow people and organisations, and message mutual connections. The Free plan covers all core features with up to 5 private candidate profiles; Plus is 14.99 a month for unlimited private profiles. Employers can also post roles and work with verified, rated recruiters.

Who it's for

  • Recruiters marketing MPCs to clients and wanting to see who viewed them

Not ideal for

  • Agencies that need an ATS or CRM in the same tool
  • Recruiters who need a large, established split network today
  • Employers looking for a full job board audience

Key features

Split marketplace. Recruiters post jobs and candidate profiles (MPCs) to shared marketplaces, search them by tags, location and keyword, and submit candidates to another recruiter's job or request a referral for their own. Fee splits are agreed between the two parties and paid directly, with no platform cut taken from the split.

Private candidate profiles. An MPC can be password protected and sent as a private link to clients outside Talnet, with a notification showing when, how often and by whom it was viewed.
