Bottom line

AI mock interview platform that recruiting firms, career centers and military transition programs hand to candidates before a real interview. It scores the substance of each answer as well as delivery, and gives staff a dashboard of who practiced and how they scored. Business starts at $79 per user per month with a five-user minimum. Best for agencies that want interview-ready submissions, not for employers screening their own applicants.

Stands out for: Most practice tools stop at delivery metrics. InterviewFocus also grades what the candidate actually said, checking structure, relevance and STAR use, then writes an improved version of that same answer. Follow-up questions react to each answer, so practice runs closer to a live conversation than a fixed question list, and recruiters can review recordings and scores before deciding who goes to the client.

Watch out for: This is candidate preparation, not a screening tool: it does not rank applicants into your ATS or replace a first-round interview, and the vendor names no ATS integrations. The Business plan needs at least five paid users, credits expire at the end of each month, and white-label branding for your agency is only on the quoted Enterprise plan.

Overview

InterviewFocus is an AI interview practice platform founded by Craig Rosen, a talent acquisition veteran who says he has run more than 10,000 interviews. It is sold to organizations that prepare people for interviews: university career centers, military transition programs and recruiting and staffing firms. Job seekers can also buy it directly.

A candidate sets a target role, industry and level, and can upload a resume and job description. The AI generates a custom interview, asks follow-up questions based on each answer, and produces a report as soon as the session ends. Formats cover behavioral, situational, technical, stress and case interviews, with difficulty from internship to senior management, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The report scores more than 10 dimensions. Content scoring looks at structure, relevance, depth and STAR method use, and shows an improved version of the answer. Delivery scoring covers pace, filler words, eye contact, smile, tone, perceived confidence, background and English proficiency, with a heatmap across all questions. Resume analysis is included on paid plans.

For staffing firms the pitch is client-specific prep: load a client's interview format and common questions, let candidates practice on their own time, and use the admin dashboard to see who is ready before submitting them. Enterprise accounts can run it as a white-labeled portal under the agency's own brand.

Business costs $79 per user per month with a five-user minimum and 1,200 credits per user, which covers up to 12 mock interviews. Enterprise is quoted for larger teams. Individual plans run from a free single interview to $249/mo, and live coaching sessions are $250 each.

Behavioral, situational, technical, stress and case formats, from internship to senior management, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Answer content scoring. Every response is judged on structure, relevance, depth and STAR method use, and the report shows an improved version of the candidate's own answer.
