Compare/Head to head

Aqore vs TempWorks

Same facts, side by side: starting price, free tier, MCP, API and what each one is actually built for.

Aqore

Sales-quoted

All in one staffing platform (sold as Zenople) that runs the ATS, onboarding, CRM and sales pipeline, timekeeping, payroll, invoicing and AP/AR on one login, with mobile apps for temps, recruiters and sales. Built for US agencies in light industrial, clerical, IT, medical and day labor. Quote-based, and the vendor says it does not lock customers into long contracts.

Where Aqore fits

  • US temp and light industrial staffing agencies
  • Day labor and job site shift work with weak connectivity
  • Agencies leaving TempWorks or Ultra-Staff that want one system
  • Firms running several FEINs under role based access

TempWorks

Sales-quoted

US staffing software that runs the ATS, CRM, payroll, billing and tax filing in one system, with a mobile app for temps. Quote-based, and built for temporary staffing agencies rather than corporate hiring.

Where TempWorks fits

  • US temporary staffing agencies
  • Agencies that want payroll and billing in house
  • High volume temp placement desks
  • Agencies that want a branded job board on their own site

Where they pull apart

Aqore

Stands out: Front and back office really are one system, ATS through payroll, invoicing, AP and AR, plus ZenTime, a tablet time clock that keeps taking punches offline at job sites and resolves split shifts, duplicate SSNs and overlapping assignments before payroll. Several of its reviewers moved over from TempWorks for that combination and for the support.

Watch out: No published price. Outside reviews are thin (seven on Capterra, all vendor invited), and reviewers mention reporting gaps that needed custom reports, a clunky advanced search and some settings resetting after major updates.

Not the right fit for

  • Corporate in-house talent teams
  • Search firms with no payroll to run
  • Teams that want self-serve pricing

TempWorks

Stands out: The back office goes further than most staffing ATSs: payroll processing, W-2 and ACA forms, tax services and payroll funding through Lone Oak Payroll can all come from TempWorks itself.

Watch out: No published price, and the product is shaped around US temp payroll, so it is the wrong fit for corporate talent teams or search firms with no payroll to run.
