MetaDay
AI recruiter that sources, screens by phone, interviews and negotiates, then hands you a top 3.
From $479/mo 30-day free trial
Bottom line
An AI recruiter that does the hiring work itself: it sources, sends outreach from your own LinkedIn and inbox, phones candidates for screening, runs AI interviews and negotiates with the top three before handing them over. Execute costs $479/mo on annual billing plus a 10% success fee per hire, which suits companies hiring one to three roles a month without a recruiter or agency. Scout is free to try with 5 discoveries.
Stands out for: Most AI recruiting tools stop at a shortlist or a screening score. MetaDay carries on through phone screens, scored interviews and a negotiation step, so the first time you meet a candidate they have already been screened, interviewed and aligned on terms. Outreach runs from your own LinkedIn and inbox, and it keeps your existing ATS rather than replacing it.
Watch out for: The subscription comes with a 10% success fee per hire on top, so model the real cost per hire before committing. Running the flow inside your own tools rather than natively on MetaDay drops Execute to one cycle a month instead of three. SOC 2 Type II is still in progress (report expected H1 2027), the product has no outside reviews yet, and an AI phoning and negotiating with candidates may need disclosure under local hiring rules.
Overview
MetaDay calls itself an AI hiring execution engine. A hiring manager briefs its agent, called Ryan, once, and the agent runs what it calls a Hiring Run for the role: sourcing, ranking, outreach, screening calls, interviews, negotiation and scheduling, with a human only stepping in for the final interview and the decision.
Candidates come in two ways. Inbound applicants and LinkedIn connections are pulled in from a posted job, while Scout searches LinkedIn and more than 100 other platforms outbound. The pool is de duplicated and ranked into a shortlist, and outreach with follow ups is sent from the hiring team's own LinkedIn and inbox.
Candidates who reply get an AI phone call that screens them and answers their questions at any hour, followed by a scored AI interview on skills and role fit. An AI negotiator then aligns terms and expectations with the strongest candidates, and the hiring manager receives three finalists with the evidence behind each. An AI note taker can join the team's own live interviews, and everything syncs to the existing ATS.
The vendor says repeated browser actions are recorded as reusable skills so the agent gets faster over time. It describes itself as GDPR aligned, built for the EU AI Act's high risk category with transparency notices, and working towards SOC 2 Type II with an audit firm engaged.
Scout is free to start with 5 discoveries, then pay as you go credits from $99 per 1,000. Execute is $479/mo on annual billing or $599/mo monthly plus a 10% success fee per hire, with a 30-day trial. Enterprise is quoted and a white glove VIP tier starts from $6,500/mo.

Key features
Sourcing and ranking. Scout searches LinkedIn and more than 100 other platforms, removes duplicates and ranks a shortlist for the role, alongside inbound applicants.
Outreach and follow ups. On Execute, personalised messages and follow ups go out from your own LinkedIn and inbox rather than a vendor domain.
AI screening calls and interviews. The agent phones candidates around the clock to screen them and answer their questions, then runs scored AI interviews on skills and role fit. An AI note taker can also join your own interviews.
Negotiation and final three. An AI negotiator aligns terms and expectations with the top candidates before you meet them, and you receive three finalists with the evidence behind each.
