What it does
Pull the text out of a PDF resume or document to paste into an ATS, CRM or email. Copy it or download a .txt file.
Why it matters: recruiters copy resume text all day, into an ATS that did not parse a file, a CRM note, a client email or an AI prompt. Copying straight from a PDF reader often scrambles columns and breaks every line. This tool rebuilds the text in reading order and joins broken lines into paragraphs.

How it works
- Open a PDF. The text appears in the box straight away.
- Choose Join lines into paragraphs for clean pasting, or Keep every line to match the PDF exactly.
- Copy the text or download it as a .txt file.
Frequently asked questions
Why did it find no text?
The PDF is probably a scan or a photo, so the words are part of a picture. Ask the candidate for the original Word or Google Docs file, which almost always has real text.
Is it safe for candidate resumes?
Yes. The text is read in your browser and nothing is uploaded or stored. If you paste the text into an AI tool, that tool’s own privacy rules apply.
Will an ATS read my resume the same way?
Roughly. If the text here comes out jumbled, an ATS parser may struggle too. Simple one column layouts read best.
