Overview
Workday VNDLY is a vendor management system for contingent labor, statement of work projects and other external workers. Workday calls it the contingent workforce system of record. VNDLY was a standalone company until Workday bought it in 2021, and vndly.com now redirects to the Workday product page.
It has three modules: Extended Workforce Management, Statement of Work and Worker Profile Management. Hiring managers create requisitions, send them to suppliers, review shortlists and approve workers through configurable workflows, and rate agreements are enforced so only approved spend gets invoiced. Workday says AI insights help pick out applicants who fit a role on experience and rate.
VNDLY runs on one global instance with in country invoicing and tax management, and Workday says customers have contractors in more than 130 countries. It connects to Workday HCM, and contingent workers also appear in Workday Adaptive Planning, Scheduling, Prism and Strategic Sourcing.
Customer logos on the product page include Peloton, College Board, Banner Health, Huntington, Medtronic and Illumina. Pricing is quoted.
